Our Story
Forged in the Atlas, Shared with the World
Toubkal Explorers was founded by a passionate team of local mountain guides from the Toubkal region, all deeply connected to the breathtaking Imlil Valley, located 65km from Marrakech. The driving force behind our company is Youssef, a dedicated guide who brings years of expertise and a love for sharing the beauty of the Atlas Mountains. Following in the footsteps of his father, Ibrahim, one of Morocco's pioneering mountain guides.
With experience from the Mountain Guide School in Tabant (CFAMM) and a B.A. holder from Cady Ayyad University (English Studies) in Marrakech, Youssef combines local expertise with professional training to ensure every journey is safe, well-organized, and enriching. Since 2017, he has worked with travelers from around the world, helping them explore Morocco’s stunning landscapes, from 4000m peaks to serene Berber valleys.
